The late Luigi Leita opened his furniture removal company in 1966. He became known to his family and friends as ‘Gigi’. For over 30 years he ran an honest furniture removals service in Pretoria and Johannesburg.

In 1997 Luigi’s son, Gino Leita, took over the running of the business. Gino brought fresh ideas and energy. Gigi’s Transport changed to Gigi’s Removals and as a result many updates followed. We built a new storage facility and replaced our fleet of trucks, just to mention a few.

To this day we continue to be a family-run moving company. We also believe that a happy employee is a productive employee. Our staff remains dedicated and very proud of their work. They are highly trained and very responsible. Our many clients, as a result, often compliment our staff members for efficient and friendly service.
